Course Description

This course is an advanced topics course in Aircraft Accident Investigation.  It is offered from time to time when interesting and leading edge topics can be assembled and presented to investigators.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for accident investigators who want to be current with various topics of interest to investigators.

How You Will Benefit

  • This course will teach advanced and timely topics of interest to investigators and IICs.

  • The Board of Certified Safety Professionals accepts this course for Continuation of Certification Credit.

  • SCSI will award 3.6 CEUs to each participant who successfully completes this course.

Course Administration

Taught on the Southern California Waterfront in San Pedro, California, the Advanced Aircraft Accident Investigation course, when offered, consists of 4.5 training days (36 hours of classroom instruction) including hands on lab work.  Students receive a textbook, lecture outlines, additional reference material and a Certificate of Completion. Classes begin daily at 0800 and end at noon on Friday.
