THE PLAN OF PRAGUE METRO

 

 

 

The easiest way how to get to Ministry of Transport by the public transport is to use the red metro line B or Yellow metro line C and get off at the station Florenc. The walk from metro stop Florenc to the Ministry won’t take more than 7 minutes.

Driving, Train and Coach Directions and Local Transportation to the Ministry of Transport (MOT)

 

Directions to MOT if you travel by car

1)      From the North

You are on the North-South speedway from Dresden. Follow the signs to the city centre. Upon reaching the Vltava River, MOT is visible on the right side. At the end of the bridge turn right and at the first crossing lights turn to Starkova Street. The MOT building is exactly on your left side. The parking place is available in front of the building; unfortunately you have to pay 2EUR/hour. (You can probably find some cheaper parking around.)

 

2)      From the South

You are on the North-South speedway from Brno / Bratislava / Vienna; follow the signs to the city centre. When you reach the train station on the right you are only 500 meters from MOT. Take the second exit from the train station and at the crossing lights turn left and use the Tesnovsky tunnel to get to the other side of the speedway. At the end of tunnel turn left to Klimentska Street and MOT is on the left side. At the crossing lights turn to Starkova Street.

 

3)      From the West

You are on the high way from Pilsen. Follow the signs to the city centre that leads you to Plzenska road. Keep the same road until you reach the Vltava River. Cross the bridge and turn left, you are on the right riverbank. Follow the river flow and before you reach Tesnovsky tunnel you turn right to Klimentska Street and MOT is on the left side. At the crossing lights turn to Starkova Street.

 

4)      From the East

You are on the highway from Hradec Kralove or from Mlada Boleslav. When approaching the city of Prague, follow the sign Cerny Most quarter. Then continue toward the city centre/Karlin till you see the International Business Centre. Turn to the right to Ke Stvanici Street and go straight till you reach the Tesnovsky tunnel. Use the Tesnovsky tunnel to get to the other side of the speedway. At the end of tunnel turn left to Klimentska Street and MOT is on the left side. At the crossing lights turn to Starkova Street.

 

Directions to MOT if you travel by train

You will arrive at Prague – Main Station or Prague – Holesovice. In either case you could use the city taxi service or metro. To reach MOT you can take the metro to station Florenc on line C. MOT is situated near the Vltava River aprox. 200 meters from the Florenc station to the North-West – see the map above.

 

Directions to MOT if you travel by coach

For nearly all coach lines the final destination is the Central Bus Terminal Florenc. MOT is situated near the Vltava River aprox. 300 meters from this terminal to the North-West – see the map above.

 

Directions from the Ruzyně Airport to downtown and MOT

Take the shuttle service CEDAZ. This is the official airport shuttle service for providing bus service to downtown Prague. Shuttle Schedule is every 30 minutes from 6:00 am until 9:00 pm (direction: Praha Ruzyně Airport – V Celnici Street).

The price for 1 person + luggage is 3 EUR.

A three full day symposium

Interactive workshops with plenty of time for Q&A with Certificates of Attendance
Training Sessions with Certificates of Completion
A one and one half hour break for lunch
