Course Description

 

This course is a generalist overview of the principles and techniques of mishap investigation in the areas of ground, explosives, missile and space as required by USAF instructions and policies. It is designed for “5” skill level safety technicians with less than 5 years experience, or space, missile, or explosives personnel who have mishap investigation responsibilities.

 

Who Should Attend

 

  • Military personnel in full-time ground, missile or weapons safety positions who will be assigned to investigate any class of mishap.

  • This course covers all aspects of investigation from applicable rules and regulations through investigation technology, analysis and reports.

Course Administration

 

This is a contract course designed to be delivered at the customer’s location or at the Pacific Palms Conference Center in Southern California. The course is 8 days (64 hours of instruction). Classes start at 0800 and end at 1700.
