    NOTE:  For those who wish to earn more than one certificate:
    1 AAI, HFAI, and HOFSMS need only be taken once to satisfy all applicable certificate requirements for these courses
    2

    Only those electives shown are available for credit for each certificate

    3 In earning more than one certificate:    No course may be counted towards more than 2 certificates other than AAI.  
    4 At least 3 courses must be unique to each certificate.
    5 Up to three courses taken elsewhere may be substituted when approved for the five SCSI courses required to earn a certificate
     
    The use of the  International Aircraft Cabin Safety Symposium (CSS) as an elective for a Certificate is limited as follows:
    1 The CSS may be applied towards the CAI certificate only.
    2 Attendance at three (3) CSS may be substituted for two electives
    3 Attendance at two (2) CSS may be substituted for one elective
    4 Attendance at any CSS from 1991 on may be credited towards electives
