Course Description

 

This is course is designed to provide personnel involved in system safety with the general background knowledge necessary to contribute successfully to system safety programs. The course will provide training in system safety management principles and system safety engineering techniques that can be applied over a system’s life cycle.  The emphasis is on the responsibilities of the implementing, supporting and using commands.

 

Who Should Attend

 

Military and civilian personnel with system safety responsibilities in the design, development or, modification of weapons systems or;

Who are involved in the definition, review and evaluation of system design efforts.

Course Administration

 

This is a contract course designed to delivered at the customer’s location or at the DoubleTree Hotel on the waterfront in San Pedro in Southern California. The course is 8 days (60 hours of instruction). Classes start at 0800 and end at 1700 except the last Friday when class ends at noon.
