Course Description

 

This course is designed to provide individuals with an introduction to aircraft mishap prevention procedures, policies and techniques.  Course graduates will be capable of performing the duties of an additional duty unit flight safety officer.

 

Who Should Attend

  • Military personnel who will be assigned as unit flight safety officers.

  • Any one who needs an introduction to the military mishap prevention process.

   You will gain the knowledge and techniques to establish, administer and evaluate a unit-level aircraft mishap prevention program. If desired and the appropriate directives are provided, the program will be tailored to the requirements of the customer’s rules and requirements.

Course Administration

This is a contract course designed to be delivered at the customer’s location.  The course is 4.5 days (36 hours of instruction). Classes start at 0800 and end at 1700 except on the last Friday when classes end at noon.
