Meeting your Aviation Safety Training Needs

Your Choice! -- SCSI offers four major options for aviation safety training

Regular course, SCSI schedule, SCSI location --  You sign up for a regularly scheduled SCSI course

Regular course but at a time and place you choose --  You contract with SCSI for an existing SCSI course

Special course at a time and place you choose -- You contract with SCSI for a new course that we design and then deliver

Distance Learning -- You take selected SCSI courses using the internet

Regular Course
The course schedules for regularly scheduled SCSI courses are published periodically for two years in advance on this web site. If you are interested in attending one of these regularly scheduled courses, simply identify the course and timing most convenient to you from among those offered and contact SCSI to sign up for the course. See the SCSI course schedules for more information.

Moving a regularly scheduled SCSI course to a time and location of your choice.
If you have individuals you would like to train in an existing SCSI course, we suggest you contact SCSI by email and explore the considerable cost savings of contracting with SCSI to simply move a course to a time and location of your choice. For contract courses, SCSI arranges for the course and SCSI instructors to move to your location and teach the usual course. The only differences are that the course will be offered at a time and location selected by you rather than at the time and location scheduled by SCSI, and you will save money!

Taking Existing SCSI Courses via Distance Learning and the Internet
An additional option for you to consider as you plan your aviation safety training,  is to take selected SCSI courses via Distance Learning using the internet.  These courses can be taken by anyone with a suitable computer anywhere and anytime.  Each distance learning course is equivalent in content to the in-class version of the course.  Distance Learning is a cost-effective way to obtain training when travel and training budgets are limited.

Creating a new course to exactly meet your unique needs
SCSI also has extensive experience with developing "design to order" courses for organizations that have aviation safety training needs that cannot be met by one of the regular courses listed in this catalog. If you need a training course which does not appear in the SCSI list of courses or if you have unique training needs, simply contact SCSI via email and explore the costs and benefits of having the SCSI instructional staff develop a course tailored to meet your specific needs. In the past 20 years, the SCSI staff has developed many courses designed to meet specific aviation safety training needs for organizations whose needs would not be met by one of our pre-existing courses. An illustrative listing of "design to order" courses developed by SCSI for organizations includes the following:
Crew Resource Management (CRM)
Flight Operations Safety for Managers
Occupational Safety and Health
Maintenance Resource Management
Operational Risk Management
International Courses
SCSI has extensive international experience in designing and delivering training courses to meet the needs of air carriers, regulators, and related aviation oriented organizations  outside the United States. If you need training outside the U.S., please contact SCSI to discuss developing one or more courses tailored to your needs.
